General Information

• Membership Eligibility
  Any Public school employee who works in Lebanon County; spouses of persons who died while within the field 
  of membership of this credit union; persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment; 
  volunteers; members of their immediate families or members of their household; and organizations of such persons.
  
• Becoming a Member
  Complete a membership application card-available from the LEBCO Educators Federal Credit Union or a school representative. Make a $100 minimum share deposit, or sign up for payroll deduction (minimum of $5 per pay).
  
• Share Account
  Dividends are paid to accounts on a monthly basis. Shares earn interest from the date of deposit to the date of withdrawal. Dividend rates are set by the Board of Directors. Call for current rates.
  
• Loans Available
  Signature Loans (personal loan) may be obtained up to $5,000.00. Loans in excess of this amount must be secured. Automobile Loans are secured loans. The title is collateral for these loans. We will loan up to the purchase price of the vehicle. A used auto must meet the NADA used vehicle average retail value to be approved for a loan. Home Equity Loans are available and will be secured by either a first or second mortgage on your home. Loans are subject to the approval of the Loan Officer. Payments can be made by automatic payroll deduction, direct deposit, mail or at our office by check, money order or cash. Call for Current Rates and an Application.
  

Other Services Available

• Savings
  Deposits to the share accounts may be made by automatic payroll deduction, mail or at our office at any time by check, money order or cash.
  
• Payroll Deduction
  Any member may sign up for payroll deduction through the business office at their respective school. The credit union office cannot do this for you.
  
• ACH
  Members may sign up for Direct Deposit through ACH. LEBCO uses Mid-Atlantic Corporation Federal Credit Union as its clearing house.
  
• VISA Credit Card
  A VISA Credit Card is available to our members with no annual fee. The interest rate is 9.9% Annual Percentage Rate on purchases and 12.9% Annual Percentage Rate on Cash Advances. Payments may be mailed to LEBCO Educators FCU,

• Share Draft Account
  This is a personal checking account with overdraft protection. There is no minimum balance, however, interest is compounded daily and can be earned on accounts maintaining a minimum of $100. A monthly statement will be issued. Deposits can be made through payroll deductions, mail or at our office.
  
• Debit Card
  VISA Check Card is an easy way to access your Share Draft account without a checkbook, to make purchases or obtain cash at an ATM machine. At a cost of only $1.00 per month, you can make purchases, receive free ATM withdrawals, and three free ATM inquiries.
  
• Holiday Clubs
  Clubs will begin Mid November and run for 50 weeks until the end of October. Upon maturity, dividends will be posted to the account and the funds may be transferred to an existing account or a check will be issued. 
  
• Vacation Clubs
  Clubs will begin Mid June and run for 50 weeks, until the end of May. Three withdrawals per calendar quarter can be made. A five dollar excessive withdrawal fee is changed after three withdrawals per calendar quarter.
